"Dr. Powell and Dr. Shanahan have been instrumental in our health and improvement of the same.  About 1998, my brother-in-law had a massive stroke that left him unable to walk or stand on his own.  Doctors told us that he would be limited to a life in a wheelchair.  We heard of this Neurological Chiropractor and thought, "Why not take a chance?"  We did and at first we were given, of all things, 'eye exercises' to do with him.  However, this produced good results and after many visits and practice he began to stand, then walk and even progressed to driving.  This may not seem 'huge' but it was to a 50+ year old male.

While treating my brother-in-law, the doctors treated us as a family unit because we cared for this man so the doctors then cared for us.  The personal care that I received was so helpful to my health.  It relieved my sore body from the heavy lifting that was needed to care for an invalid.  I always felt relief and comfort from my treatments.

Dr. Mike and Dr. Kourtne did a lot for us, both as providers of chiropractic care and as friends and gave us confidence.

“I was a very hurting person when I first came to see Dr. Powell in June 2002. I have a chronic back condition. When I came I had torn tendons in my shoulder as well as an inflammation problem. Dr. Powell was excellent with adjustments to improve the problems.

I was referred to Dr. Powell because my past chiropractor could not treat me, as the inflammation would not allow the doctor to press on my back. It hurt a great deal.

The progress since 2002 is like night and day. I still have a chronic back condition, but the comfort level is 100 percent better. Dr. Powell has worked with my arm, which has two torn tendons, and now I can use it like the other one. I can also raise it above my head. My knees need to be replaced and Dr. Powell keeps them in alignment.
